Jacaranda Organizing Team (JOT) is a group of neighborhood volunteers who organize various teams that support our activities and functions to facilitate community spirit, friendship, and neighborhood participation.

There are many community activities: Monthly Socials, Driveway Socials, Ladies’ and Men’s Luncheons, Golf Groups to name a few. You can be as involved as you wish.

Meet your neighbors: Driveway Socials are a great way to get to know your neighbors. Typically held twice a month, they occur in front of neighbors' homes who volunteer to host. Monthly Socials are held at The Villages Recreation Centers that include food and entertainment.

Neighbors-Saving-Neighbors - Our community is part of The Villages CPR/AED Program. AED is short for Automated External Defibrillator, which is used during sudden cardiac arrest incidences. Jacaranda Villas has two defibrillators and twelve trained volunteers who reside in the Jacaranda Villas and respond to 911 calls from our residents. Caring for one another - Our Welcome team meet with new residents and welcomes them to our community. They serve as a bridge to help our new neighbors take advantage of all that Jacaranda Villas has to offer. Our Sunshine team reaches out to neighbors who are ill, injured or grieving the loss of a loved one. They send cards and facilitate donations to charitable organizations in the name of the family member.
